Each potato is chosen by hand and handled as little as possible so that it arrives to you in the best possible condition.
When potatoes are gently brushed instead of washed, they retain some soil after harvesting, which acts as a natural protector. This extends their shelf life and helps maintain the potatoes' nutritional value and flavour.

Meet Larry

After growing up with a father who worked in the potato industry Larry's career began at the Potato Board, the state regulator, which later transitioned into the Potato Authority and eventually the Potato Corporation.

As part of the state regulatory board, Larry witnessed the evolution of potato varieties and played a significant role in maintaining the quality and steady pricing for Western Australian potato growers.

As the industry underwent deregulation, his extensive experience and connections within the industry led him to a new chapter in his career.

Teaming up with a local grower, he and his partner became agents for Harvest Moon, a prominent vegetable producer in Tasmania.

Through his dedication and expertise, Larry has been instrumental in fostering strong relationships with growers and wash packers, ensuring a strong supply of exceptional potatoes.

His commitment to taste and quality has made him an influential figure in the industry, driving growth and innovation in the Western Australian potato landscape.
